Even though I am totally not in the mood for this, I was told to do it, so here it goes...
5 Things to be joyful about:
1. An amazing man who loves me, challenges me, and makes me laugh.
2. 11 1/2 hour hikes in perfect weather.
3. Being in a relationship with a God who speaks to me through His word.
4. Wearing rubber boots to work.
5. Having an hour long break between rappelling groups all by myself.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
Always be joyful. Never stop praying.

I think we need to do that assignment too. This morning I turned on the shower and it sprayed over the entire bathroom - all four walls and ceiling and everything in it. Not feeling too terribly thankful this morning. So I will write down my five things in the next session.
Sorry about the deleted comment - I somehow published the same comment twice. Love you so much and miss you muchly!
love, mum
Hi Liz,
my name is Heather Geddert - Lowell Geddert's wife, son of Marrian & Len Geddert. I googled my name - yes, I actually googled it, I was curious, what can I say! And your blog came up. Would you mind if I added it to my blog list?
We seem to just keep missing each other! I went to CBC & am now an admissions counsellor there until Lo finishes his degree. I went to Frontier Lodge in grade 7 & it changed my life so much that after school I went to Capernwray NZ's Adventure BIble school, & finally finished my degree in 2007 in Outdoor Leadership. I had looked into working at Frontier lodge last year but raised support isn't an option until Lo graduates & we have 2 incomes.
I hope to do outdoor education & either get a Masters in it to teach post secondary certificate course like Quest or ABS or go back & get PDP to teach high school outdoor Education in Christian school as I love that God has given us his creation as such a valuable tool to learn more about him & teach others about him & their relationhsip with Him while challenging them physically, spiritually, mentally (holistically then!).
It would be great to connect with some of Lowell's extended family! I think I either met your parents once, or talked to them, or...maybe just missed them when Len & Marrian were here in Abbotsford a couple of years ago! Meh, something like that! I know you've all been mentioned before anyways!
